Bourne Housing
Bourne Housing was formed in 1965, originally as a cost rent Housing Association. The 1974 Housing Act enabled the Society to commence the development of “fair rent” housing and the first scheme was completed in 1976. Since 1980 Bourne Housing has also developed shared ownership accommodation, where applicants purchase, normally, a 50% share of the accommodation and pay rent on the 50% interest not purchased.
Bourne Housing has over 1700 properties in management in 8 London boroughs and in the counties of Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and Dorset.
Bourne Housing required a new website that would provide residents and partners with a useful resources, whilst at the same time being easy to update and manage.
Bourne chose Refresh because of its ease of use and excellent functionality. The new website can be updated instantly using the simple browser based editor.
The new website also has an attractive design and provides residents with useful information as well as an alternative channel for communication.
