The Account Planning Group
The Account Planning Group (APG) is a not-for-profit organisation run for and by its membership that exists to promote and celebrate excellence in creative thinking.
The website provides a key channel to communicate with APG members as well as the public, but it was proving difficult to keep the content up to date so it was not used to its full potential.
Refresh web content management system was chosen to overcome these problems as it enables the APG to share the responsibility of maintaining the site and is extremely easy to use. Using a design produced by the APG, the site was redeveloped using Refresh and the APG committee now enjoys complete control over the website.
The website includes a 3-tier user hierarchy system that easily allows the APG to control what content is available to different user goups. A blog was also included in the specification to help build a community based around the website.
Speaking about the new website, Janet Grimes of the APG commented; "Refresh is an elegant solution to our needs - its flexible, simple and cost effective. I only wish we'd found it sooner".
